Odell Beckham Jr. needed less than a quarter to make his impact in Super Bowl LVI, scoring the first touchdown of the game to give the Los Angeles Rams the early lead over the Cincinnati Bengals. Beckham caught a 17-yard strike from Matthew Stafford on third-and-3 for the score — his first catch of the night.
The touchdown pass was also Stafford’s first touchdown in the Super Bowl. The six-play, 50-yard drive was set up thanks to a failed fourth-and-1 conversion by the Bengals on the Rams’ 49-yard line, giving the Rams excellent field position to get an early score.
