While he does have a glorious mullet and great taste in music, Ohio State transfer quarterback Quinn Ewers has yet to attempt a pass at the college level.
To take it even further, he has yet to put on a Texas helmet or even be named the starter for the Longhorns, but that has not stopped the experts from putting him in the early Heisman conversation.
It is no secret why, as Ewers garnered the highest ranking possible as a recruit, and was ranked above players like USC’s Caleb Williams coming out of high school. He also threw for nearly 7,000 yards, 73 touchdowns, and just eight interceptions in his two years of high school football.
Bleacher Report is the latest outlet to jump on the Ewers for Heisman train, as he was one of their underclassmen that have a chance to win the illustrious award.
