Colts considering former star receiver Reggie Wayne for 2022 assistant coaching job, per report

The Colts could turn to one of the best players in franchise history to fill a vacancy on their staff in 2022. After Mike Groh’s departure as wide receivers coach this offseason, Indianapolis is “strongly considering” retired star receiver Reggie Wayne for the same position, according to The Athletic’s Zak Keefer. Nothing has been finalized between the two sides, Keefer reported Friday, but Wayne is in the mix as a potential big-name addition under Frank Reich.
