The Green Bay Packers landed a speedy wide recevier, a developmental edge rusher and a potential future starter at linebacker in Draft Wire’s latest mock draft projections before the NFL Scouting Combine.
Luke Easterling of Draft Wire gave the Packers the following players by round:
First: WR Jameson Williams, Alabama
Second: OLB Kingsley Enagbare, South Carolina
Third: LB
Easterling believes Williams, a dynamic playmaker who tore his ACL in the national title game, could be a “huge steal” late in the first round. If nothing else, Williams could eventually provide the Packers with a high-upside replacement for vertical threat Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who is scheduled to be a free agent next month.
Enagbare is a big (6-4, 261) and powerful pass-rusher who could fill a need for the Packers on the edge. He may lack the juice to be a big-time disruptor but his skill set could be valuable if the Packers lose Za’Darius Smith from the pass-rushing rotation. Brandon Carwile of Packers…
