INDIANAPOLIS – There is strong class of pass rushers coming out in this NFL Draft, and many scouts believe the first round will be full of them. That’s good news for the Jets, who need pass rushing help and are sitting on two top 10 picks.
But are any of the top pass rushers worthy of the Jets’ first pick at No. 4? A lot of NFL people think so.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh didn’t sound so sure.
“There’s some really cool (pass-rushing) prospects at the top of the draft,” Saleh said on a Zoom call from the Jets’ facility in New Jersey on Wednesday morning. “I get that there’s not that splash man like a Nick Bosa or a Chase Young but these guys are really good. They’re really, really good.”
Only Saleh and GM Joe Douglas know for sure if “really cool” or “really, really good” would make any of them worthy of the Jets’ first pick in the draft – something they might have to…
