Former Alabama running back Brian Robinson Jr. is now at the 2022 NFL scouting combine where he will showcase his talents and measurables to NFL front offices, scouts and head coaches.
While speaking with members of the media, Robinson discussed other Crimson Tide running backs that have made it to the league. He specifically mentions Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans, as someone he’s looked at as a model for his future.
He also talks about how a shared experience at Alabama makes for a tight-knit bond and community of former Crimson Tide players.
In his five seasons at Alabama, Robinson had 545, 2,704 yards and 29 rushing touchdowns. Much like Henry, Robinson’s production comes primarily from handoffs and work up the middle throughout the line.
Robinson is not one of the highest-rated running backs in the 2022 NFL draft class, but he is expected to be drafted at some point, likely in Day 3.
