One of the most interesting prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft is Georgia’s Jordan Davis, who was a key part of the team’s national championship success this past season. After dominating in the trenches for the Bulldogs and accumulating 90 total career tackles (11.5 of which were for loss) and seven career sacks, Davis is expected to be a first-round pick, and many like his chances to repeat his success in the NFL.
With the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine starting this week, Davis spoke with the media Friday and was asked who he models his game after. He replied by singling out former Jags defensive tackle John Henderson, who Davis has a similar build to at 6-foot-6, 340 pounds.
“One person that I really honed in was John Henderson from the Jacksonville Jaguars,” Davis said. “Very old name and not a lot of kids say that nowadays, but he’s just one of those guys when I first started watching football that I was drawn to.
