Browns plan to tender D’Ernest Johnson; will have ability to match any offer RB receives, per report

The Cleveland Browns want to keep one of the league’s best rushing attacks intact for the upcoming season. That includes the retention of running back D’Ernest Johnson, as the Browns plan to tender him at the right of first refusal number, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The right of first refusal tender is a one-year contract where the team has the right to match any offer sheet signed with another team. There is no draft compensation tied to this tender.
