Dalton Schultz and David Njoku both received the franchise tag ahead of 2022 NFL free agency, and now another top tight end has come off the market before the start of the league’s legal tampering period. Fresh off his first stint with the Cardinals, Zach Ertz has agreed to sign a three-year extension with Arizona, according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero. The veteran’s new deal will keep him among the 10 highest-paid tight ends in the NFL, per Pelissero, averaging at least $10 million per year.
