At this point in the NFL’s pre-draft calendar, teams are doing their due diligence to learn as much as possible about the current crop of prospects. And when it comes to Mississippi State tackle Charles Cross, it sounds like both New York teams have taken an interest.
Speaking at Mississippi State’s pro day on Tuesday, Cross said that while he’s heard from every NFL team, the two teams he’s heard from most are the Jets and Giants, per Robbie Faulk of 247Sports.
In addition, Jon Sokoloff of WCBI News reports that Cross’ pro day performance drew praise from multiple Giants scouts.
Heading into April’s draft, the top end of the offensive line group appears to be as talented as any position, with names like Cross, Ikem Ekwonu, Evan Neal, and Trevor Penning all in line to potentially be Top 10 picks.
