Earlier this week, the Eagles signed Nick Sirianni’s favorite receiver Zach Pascal to a one-year deal.
Now we know how much he’s going to cost.
Pascal, 27, signed a one-year deal worth $1.5 million guaranteed, according to a league source.
Here’s the full breakdown of his contract:
Full value: $1.5 million guaranteed
Signing bonus: $465K
Base salary: $1.035 million
Incentives: Up to $1 million
Pascal’s base salary in 2022 is fully guaranteed and he can earn up to another $1 million in incentives if he meets individual and team benchmarks.
But Pascal’s base salary of $1.035 million is the league minimum for a player with his level of service. So this is a pretty cheap deal for a signing that isn’t a splash player but does make the Eagles better. To put this into perspective, according to OverTheCap, there are 84 receivers in the NFL who have a higher average per year than $1.5 million.
