Tyreek Hill trade aftermath: Chiefs have a boatload of draft picks after dealing explosive WR to Miami

Tyreek Hill’s signature moment as a Kansas City Chief took place late in Super Bowl LIV. Trailing the 49ers by 10 points in the fourth quarter, Hill pulled down Patrick Mahomes’ 44-yard pass on third-and-15. The catch spearheaded Kansas City’s come-from-behind victory while giving Hill a permanent place in Chiefs lore. 

Two years have passed since Hill and the Chiefs reached the mountaintop, and while they looked like an up-and-coming dynasty then, Kansas City has come up short of their championship aspirations each of the past two years. If Hill’s Super Bowl catch was his greatest moment in Kansas City, one of his lowest points was when he was denied the end zone on the final play of the first half in the Chiefs’ overtime loss to the Bengals in this past year’s AFC Championship Game.
