Broncos interested in being Jaguars’ opponent for 2022 International Series

The Jacksonville Jaguars are scheduled to face all four AFC West and NFC East teams this season. The Denver Broncos, who the Jaguars are slated to host this season, are campaigning to face them in London.

Broncos president/CEO Joe Ellis, who is acting as the franchise owner until a sale is completed, indicated at the NFL owners meeting in Florida this week that he would like to play in London this fall.

“I’d love to see us [play there],” Ellis said Monday. “We play the Jaguars. We’ll see if that becomes a possibility. I don’t know right now for sure. But I’ve expressed interest on behalf of the team. Coach [Nathaniel] Hackett is bullish on it, George [Paton] is bullish on it, Russell Wilson is bullish on it. We’re lobbying as hard as we can.”
