The Indianapolis Colts are among the teams entering the 2022 NFL draft looking to add to their wide receiver room.
Finding a complement to Michael Pittman Jr. is a necessity for general manager Chris Ballard this offseason and while he remains bullish on the current state of the room, additions need to be made.
One option in the draft may be Skyy Moore out of Western Michigan. Matt Bowen of ESPN listed the Colts as the best fit for Moore in the draft.
βWhy he fits: I struggle with Mooreβs transition to the NFL because of his one-speed route running and average separation ability. Thatβs also why scheme fit is so important, though, and I like Moore in Frank Reichβs system with new quarterback Matt Ryan. There will be a lot of in-breaking concepts here, which meshes with Mooreβs college tape on play-action and RPO. Ryan could hit Moore on timing throws, and Moore isnβt shy about working into traffic. Thereβs a physical element and natural toughness to his game.
