Sterling Dixon is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound edge rusher from Mobile, Alabama, where he plays for one of the best teams in Class 4A and in one of the hardest regions, as well.
The Mobile Christian School Leopards played in a region with the Vigor Wolves (who finished 14-1 and won the state championship) and the Jackson Aggies (who finished 11-3 and lost to Vigor in the state semi-final game).
Dixon is one of the most talented players on the Leopards roster, hence why he has garnered so much attention from power five colleges. As a freshman in 2020, he had 78 tackles, 31 tackles for loss and nine sacks.
He hasn’t received an offer from Alabama or Auburn yet, but it may only be a matter of time before that comes to fruition as Dixon will likely climb the recruiting boards in his senior season. In the SEC, you need some speed coming off of the edge to keep up, and Dixon definitely fits the bill.
