The Nebraska football team has not had a 1,000-yard rusher since Devine Ozigbo ran 1,082 yards in 2018. With a new Offensive Coordinator in Mark Whipple taking over, there is hope that the Huskers may once again see consistent and sustained success in the running game. It was once the trademark feature of the Husker program. It was one of the first things anyone mentioned when talking about Nebraska football. That era is gone but not forgotten.
