Tigers make top 12 for DE Vic Burley

Tigers offer 2023 ATH Jacobe Johnson

When it comes to surprises, some are good and some are bad. This one would definitely fall into the good category.

Vic Burley is a 6-foot-5, 265-pound five-star defensive lineman from Warner Robins, Georgia. On Friday, he sent out a tweet stating that he was removing Alabama and Oregon from his top 12 schools, and in their place, he is adding LSU and Miami.

File that under “things we like to see.”

LSU has four commits for the 2023 recruiting class: a tight end, a wide receiver, and two safeties. So far, coach Brian Kelly has offered a lot of defensive linemen from the 2023 class but has no commitments.

This 2023 class is shaping up to be one of the top classes in the country already and there is still a lot of time before signing day rolls around. After the most recent commitment, the LSU recruiting class for 2023 has moved up to the No. 8 class in the country per On3.
