Texas appears to be gaining momentum on the recruiting trail after hosting a large number of prospects over the last three weekends.
Now, they’re trending for one of the top recruits in New Jersey. Four-star safety Jayden Bonsu announced the top 10 schools left in his recruitment on Sunday.
The Longhorns made the cut alongside Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State, Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan State, Miami, USC and Oregon.
Bonsu is rated the No. 3 overall prospect in New Jersey and the No. 15 safety in the country for the 2023 recruiting class, according to Rivals.
The 6-foot-2 defensive back currently has one 247Sports crystal ball prediction in favor of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
