Reviewing Bryan Harsin’s leading passers by year

Prior to joining the Auburn Tigers ahead of the 2021 college football season, Bryan Harsin had a reputation as a quarterback developer.

This run started 16 seasons ago at his alma mater, Boise State as the offensive coordinator in 2006. Harsin was once under center for the Broncos from 1996-1999. Having played quarterback, the Auburn head football coach understands the demands of the position.

In his first year as an offensive coordinator, he developed Jared Zabransky, who led Boise State to a Fiesta Bowl victory over the Oklahoma Sooners. He would soon coach Kellen Moore, who would become the all-time winningest quarterback in FBS history.

From there Harsin would head to the Texas Longhorns as co-OC under Mack Brown. He then became head coach at Arkansas State before returning to Boise State as the head coach.
