The game of football is geared towards with offensive side of the ball. With the way the game is now, quarterbacks and wide receivers are the biggest benefactors.
This past NFL draft we saw just one quarterback in the first round but a total of six wide receivers take over the first 18 selections. Among the group were Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave. Fellow Big Ten pass-catcher from Penn State, Jahan Dotson was among the group.

After missing out in the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes, the Carolina Panthers opted to draft former Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral. He should have a fair shot at becoming a starter in his rookie season if Sam Darnold struggles in 2022.
