The 2022 recruiting class for the Crimson Tide has yet to play a regular season game, but one member has already entered the NCAA transfer portal. Today, Matt Zenitz of On3 reports that incoming true freshman offensive tackle Dayne Shor has entered his name in the portal.
Shor committed to the Crimson Tide late July in 2021. The three-star offensive tackle from Denmark chose Alabama over Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Auburn and others.
There’s no clear reason as to why Shor entered the transfer portal, but it may be because of his expected spot on the depth chart.
