Everything Steve Sarkisian said at the Texas Exes event on Monday

With the season still a few months away, there are many questions swirling around the Texas football program.

Second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian spoke at the Texas Exes event in San Antonio on Monday and fielded all sorts of questions about players who are injured, positions that are being targeted in the transfer portal, and of course the alleged Xavier Worthy tampering situation that took place.

The Longhorns are looking to improve in year two under Sarkisian, who inherited a depleted roster in 2021 and limped to a 5-7 record. With reinforcements coming by way of the high school ranks and the transfer portal, along with the large amount of attrition that has taken place, there is a growing expectation that there will be dramatic improvement.

After the 2021 season, Sarkisian expressed he wanted to bring in over 30 new players, and not only was that goal met but there is a chance that he will bring in even more to add more talent and depth to certain positions.

Here is everything Sarkisian said on Monday evening.
