JACKSONVILLE – The ’22 Jaguars are away from home early. A lot.
That’s their story in December, too.
They’ll also play two nationally-televised games, including one in prime time, and they have a significant midseason home stretch – with the NFL releasing the Jaguars’ 2022 schedule along with the entire ’22 league schedule Thursday at 8 p.m.
Among the highlights of the Jaguars’ ’22 schedule: a home game against the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on October 30 at 9:30 a.m., and a Thursday night prime-time game on Christmas Week against the New York Jets.
The Jets game could feature the first two selections in the 2021 NFL Draft – quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars and Zach Wilson of the Jets. The Jets won the duo’s first matchup at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., last season – and the teams will play there again on December 22 in 2022, a game that will stream on Prime Video.
That’s the Jaguars’ lone scheduled prime-time game in 2022.
