Penn State is losing some key players on the defensive side of the ball in 2022 after sending a good handful of players off to the NFL by way of the NFL draft. Linebacker Brandon Smith and safety Jaquan Brisker are headliners of those losses. Penn State also say cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields and Jesse Luketa be selected by NFL teams during the draft process.
However, Penn State does have some key veterans returning in 2022 like Ji’Ayir Brown, Joey Porter Jr., and PJ Mustipher.
