Every year, the NFLPA hosts the Rookie Premiere as a marketing event for a selected number of incoming players. Here is how the NFLPA describes the event:
Serving as the first major business and marketing event for players since becoming professionals and providing partners with unparalleled early access to the game’s marketable new stars. Rookies gain valuable insights and connections that will assist in the development of their brands and careers on and off the field.
Three members of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2022 rookie class were invited and are planning to attend. Quarterback Kenny Pickett, along with wide receivers George Pickens and Calvin Austin III, will have a chance to network with potential marketing partners as they enter their professional careers.
