Offensive Coordinator Shane Waldron Embracing A “True Offseason Program”

Seattle Seahawks Offensive Coordinator Shane Waldron sat down with 93.3 KJR FM’s Ian Furness to discuss some of the changes to the offense and plans for the season. With rookie minicamp in the rear view mirror and OTA’s (Organized Team Activities) beginning Monday, Waldron addressed several questions surrounding the Seahawks, and changes to preparation, with less of the strenuous restrictions and guidelines put in place due to COVID-19.

“Last couple of years obviously having to deal with all the obstacles and for all the right reasons that we had to deal with,” said Waldron “This year got back to some normalcy, so you get to really have that true offseason program. Where you get to chance to meet with the guys, go over last-season stuff, corrections or stuff we want to do a little differently and go out into the field and implement it.”

From fielding questions about the quarterback race to guard play from Damien Lewis, Waldron delves into the progression of the Seahawks offseason.
