Potential QB options in 2023 class

Quarterbacks. We’re always talking about them.

We don’t even know who is going to start for LSU this fall, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea to look at how the position is shaping up in next year’s recruiting class.

The Tigers have signed blue-chip recruits at quarterback in the last two classes with Garrett Nussmeier and Walker Howard. If those two stick around, it’s not pivotal that coach Brian Kelly lands a big-time quarterback next year.

Rashada is the dark horse. The Tigers didn’t make much noise in his recruitment until recently when they were listed as one of his finalists. He’s a California native, and Oregon is thought to be the favorite. Texas A&M and Ole Miss are also right up there. If Rashada were to end up at LSU, it’d be a surprise, but it’s not impossible.

If it doesn’t land one of the big five-stars, there’s Eli…
