USC’s receivers are recognized as a strength of the 2022 roster

Jordan Addison narrows his list to two schools: USC and Texas

Jordan Addison has become the new leader of the pack in USC’s wide receiver room, but let’s acknowledge that Mario Williams, Brenden Rice, Terrell Bynum and the other members of this group aren’t chopped liver.

We saw the high-quality plays USC’s receivers made in the spring game on April 23. This group made a strong first impression on USC fans. Transfers from other schools felt at home and established a comfort zone with Caleb Williams in the first half of that game before the defense responded in the second half. Optimism was already warranted for the USC receivers before Addison came along.

The fact Addison is in the fold means USC has an elite field-stretching receiver who will make it that much easier for Mario Williams and others to operate in open space.
