Several of Texas’ new additions this offseason will be counted on to make immediate contributions this upcoming season.
Steve Sarkisian’s staff completely revamped the roster on the offensive side of the ball with four talented playmakers from the transfer portal in Quinn Ewers, Isaiah Neyor, Jahleel Billingsley and Agiye Hall.
While Texas opted to address the offensive line via the recruiting trail rather than the transfer portal, the Longhorns did find themselves several skill position players and a former five-star recruit at quarterback.
The Longhorns only landed one defensive player from the transfer portal in Ohio State cornerback Ryan Watts, but he’s expected to make a significant contribution this offseason and is currently projected as a starter in the secondary.
The final 247Sports transfer portal rankings were recently released and Texas had five players within the top 150. Let’s take a look at where each of them landed.
