With less than 100 days until the college football season, we are bound to see preview coverage start to ramp up across the board as teams and fanbases get prepared for what is set to be an incredibly entertaining year.
As part of that preview, 247Sports recently went about ranking the 100 most important football games that will take place next season, placing weight on potential conference championship matchups as well as high-profile non-conference matchups as well.
It comes as no surprise that the Oregon Ducks are part of 7 of those 100 matchups, holding court in the Pac-12 and starting the year off with a bang, facing the defending champion Georgia Bulldogs to kick things off, followed by a tough non-conference matchup with BYU in Week 3.

No. 96 — Washington Huskies at Oregon Ducks

Where: Eugene, Oregon
Importance: An always important rivalry game, this one will be key for Dan Lanning and the Ducks to win in his first season in Eugene in order to keep the recent run of Oregon dominance going over the Huskies.
No. 88 — BYU Cougars at Oregon Ducks
When: Saturday, September 17
Where: Eugene, Oregon
Importance: Many people look at Georgia as the biggest test for the Ducks at the start of the season, and while that may be true, Oregon is going to have a big early-season test with the BYU Cougars as well. BYU finished last season as a top-15 team and had great success against the Pac-12 throughout the season.
