Latest 2023 NFL mock features three Tigers

Though we are still a good bit away from the next college football and NFL seasons, it is never too early to be looking towards the next NFL draft and how we think that first round will stack up.

The 2022 NFL draft wasn’t the best for the Tigers as the team failed to have a first-round, with Andrew Booth Jr. falling to the middle of the second round. There were just two Clemson players selected in the draft between Booth and Baylon Spector in the seventh round.

Something we know for sure is that the 2023 NFL draft will be more favorable for the Clemson football program, with multiple Tigers projected to be first round picks.

According to Draft Wire, there are three current Clemson players who they project to go in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft.

Here’s a look at where Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling has these Tigers going in his latest mock draft:

7. Jacksonville Jaguars | Clemson DL Bryan Bresee

What Easterling had to say:

The Jags now have a talented pair of edge rushers, but they should use a disruptive force in the middle of the defensive line. Bresee missed most of last season due to injury, but at full strength, can be a dominant player.

Bresee would make a lot of sense on the Jaguars. They’re a team that has been looking to bolster their defensive line, selecting Travon Walker with the No.1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. With the edges now in place with Walker and their star Josh Allen, Bresee would be the missing piece in the middle of that defensive line.
