Going into the 2022 football season, Aggies Wire will be looking at each scholarship player listed on the Texas A&M roster.

Dametrious Crownover is entering his redshirt freshman season as a reserve/ backup left tackle for the Aggies. He is looking to continue his development as an offensive lineman after switching from the tight end position after the 2021 season, in which he redshirted.
Dametrious is the brother of current Texas A&M running back, Earnest Crownover, a member of the 2020 class, while both spent their early playing days at Grandview High School in Grandview, Texas. During his time at Grandview, Dametrious was a start at the tight end and defensive end position, helping win the Texas Class 3A Division I state championship during his 2018 sophomore season, selected first-team all-district selection at defensive end after his 2019 junior season, and was named a first-team all-district pick at tight end and defensive end at the end of his 2020 senior season.
Coming in as what looked to be the future at the tight end position for the Aggies, Crownover’s career took a surprising turn to protector of the QBs’ blind side, yet due to his athletic prowess and frame, the future is bright.
