It is not often that you look up a player that commits to a power five school, or any school, and not find much on his recruiting. For AJ Locke though, he is the exception to the rule evidently but he was talented enough for Penn State to find him and get him to commit to the program.
Locke will be entering a loaded 2023 quarterback room led by Drew Allar and Christian Veilleux. In a move that may be just to provide depth or a position change, we aren’t expecting to see much out of Locke on the field anytime soon when he steps foot on campus.
More of a compliment to Penn State’s quarterback room than a negative for Locke. James Franklin has done a good job of staying on top of the position since getting to State College.
For now though, get to know AJ Locke as best you can.
