SportsPac12 examines the running back position in the Pac-12

USC has some weaknesses. Running back is not one of them, unless you are concerned about depth at the position. The Trojans could use another body or two, but if that’s the worst problem at a position group, it’s not that big a problem.

Not with Travis Dye, the transfer from Oregon, joining Stanford transfer Austin Jones in a very talented backfield which also has considerable Pac-12 playing experience. Dye and Jones know how to attack opposing Pac-12 defenses, which will make them even tougher to deal with this coming season.

Jack Follman of SportsPac12 ranked the Pac-12 running backs with the 2022 season coming up. Dye and Jones are on the list. See where they specifically land in Follman’s piece.
