What’s happening around the NFL today?

Well, Lamar Jackson showed up to work and apparently it’s a big deal. The Steelers gave a safety a dump truck full of money. Also, there’s a head coach who refuses to trade his top receiver.

Missing… okay, you get it. Nobody has had a worse season because they missed OTAs. And if they did, it’d be dang hard to prove it.

Some guys just want to work out on their own for a bit. These guys have routines. As long as they show up to mandatory practices, there’s no reason to get all worked up.

I don’t even have anything funny or witty to say about this one. It’s a good move. When you have a chance to lock up an all-pro safety entering his prime for five more years, you do it.

Commanders HC Ron Rivera absolutely, positively is not trading WR Terry McLaurin

Commanders fans really need this right now. Things haven’t been great for that squad since, well, before I was born. The last few years have been torture. And who knows what the team’s record will be in 2022.

So hopefully Rivera isn’t getting Washington fans’ hopes up. If McLaurin does get traded… check on the closest Commanders fan to you. Make sure they’re okay.
