Ducks becomes favorite to land 4-star safety

Ducks projected to land 5-star QB in 2023 class

The recruiting cycle in college football is in full swing, and with the Oregon Ducks coming off of one of the biggest recruiting weekends we’ve seen in a long time, you can expect things to start moving pretty quickly over the next couple of weeks.

The Ducks played host to a number of top-ranked players over the weekend, with more 5-star players on the way in the coming days. When it comes getting into good standing with some of the top players, it appears that Oregon is doing well, with Dan Lanning and the staff picking up two Crystal Ball Predictions from 247Sports on Sunday afternoon.

According to 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wilftong, the Ducks are now predicted to land 4-star S Tyler Turner, who is ranked as the No. 33 safety and No. 337 player in the 2023 class.

Turner recently released a top-2 of Oregon and Oklahoma ahead of his visit to the Ducks this past weekend.

The other player to be predicted to choose Oregon is 3-star CB Collin Gill, from St. John’s High School in Washington D.C.

Gill is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 101 CB in the 2023 class, and No. 7 player in D.C.

As the cycle continues and more players take visits to Eugene, we will likely see more players get closer to their commitments. There’s a good chance more Crystal Balls are on the way.
