Jack Follman of SportsPac12 dropped his rankings for the best receiver-tight end combinations in the Pac-12 Conference.
Unsurprisingly, the USC Trojans are No. 1 in the Pac. Even before the addition of Jordan Addison, USC was loaded, and we examined the wide receiver depth here.
But, after the addition of Addison, they are at the top in the conference. Here’s what Follman said about the Trojans:
The Trojans lost Drake London and a lot at receiver and still have one of the best units in the nation because of the transfer portal and the young, blue-chip talent they have waiting in the wings. Returning Biletnikoff winner and Pitt transfer, Jordan Addison is the highlight here, but the depth is breathtaking and Gary Bryant Jr. is probably the second-best returning WR.
Usually, losing guys like Michael Trigg (who went to Ole Miss) and Drake London would be tough blows for a football team.
However, Mario Williams came over from Oklahoma, and the Trojans have Gary Bryant Jr. returning.
There is just too much talent in USC, and the Jordan Addison-Mario Williams-Gary Bryant Jr. 1-2-3 WR punch is one of the best in the entire country, especially with Caleb Williams throwing the ball and Travis Dye in the backfield.
Oh, and Brenden Rice transferred from Colorado to USC. This is the depth the Trojans bring to the table at this position.
