The 49ers haven’t gotten their 2022 season underway yet, but given what lies ahead in 2023 it’s not to early to look at which players are set to hit free agency next March.
Some players like Deebo Samuel and Jimmy Garoppolo could have their long-term futures altered before the next league year, but there are others whose future still hangs in the balance.
With 47 players due to hit free agency next year the 49ers have a ton of decisions to make. That process will begin this season as the team susses out which players are worth keeping long-term and which ones are replaceable.
