July is a critical month in recruiting. Recruits have taken their official visits and many are set to announce what school they will be committing to.
The state of Alabama is full of talented players in the 2023 recruiting class and Bryan Harsin is looking to take advantage of it. The Tigers are in the mix for several of the top targets and should be finding out shortly if they can keep them home.
Several of Auburn’s top targets are set to announce their decision in the coming weeks and Ben Thomas, Nick Alvarez, and Randy Kennedy of AL.com have predictions for several in-state targets.
Here is a look at where they think four blue-chip recruits from Alabama will wind up.
Jeremiah Cobb

Finalist: Auburn, Tennessee, Clemson
Prediction: Auburn
All three think that Jeremiah Cobb will join Auburn’s class when he commits on Friday. Cobb is ranked as the No. 207 overall recruit and No. 8 running back in the 247Sports Composite ranking.
Keldric Faulk

Finalist: Auburn, Florida State, Florida, Clemson
Prediction: Florida State
All three think that Keldric Faulc will spurn Auburn for the Sunshine State but are split on the school. Thomas and Kennedy think he is heading to Florida State, while Alvarez thinks he will become a Florida Gator. Faulk is the No. 84 overall recruit and No. 9 defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite ranking.
Avery Stuart

Finalist: Auburn, FSU, Arkansas, Miami, Kentucky, Michigan State
Prediction: Florida State
Thomas and Kennedy think Avery Stuart will be the second straight target to spurn the Tigers for the Seminoles, while Alvarez thinks he is headed to Kentucky. Stuart is the No. 197 overall player and No. 12 safety in the 247Sports composite ranking.
