4-star DL recruit A’mauri Washington lists Oregon as a finalist

Oregon Ducks extend offer to 2024 5-star quarterback DJ Lagway

The state of Arizona is quickly becoming a big recruiting hotbed and that state is the home of one of the country’s best defensive linemen in A’mauri Washington.

Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing almost 300 pounds, the Chandler, Ariz. native recently released his top four schools he will choose between. Florida, LSU, Oklahoma and Oregon are all in the running. It’s interesting that not only are his local schools of Arizona and ASU are out, but the Ducks are the lone Pac-12 school Washington is considering.

Most recruiting outlets give Washington four stars and is a Top 15 defensive lineman in the nation. Should he decide to sign with the Ducks, he will be a huge, quite literally, piece of the puzzle that will make up an impressive Class 2023 that head coach Dan Lanning and his staff are putting together.
