Where does Sam Pittman rank among SEC coaches?

Head coach sam pittman has brought Arkansas football back from one of its’ lowest points in history and has the program on a path to reaching levels of success that it has not seen in generations.

Because of their recent success, as well as the projected upward trend, Mike Farrell recently named Pittman as the best coaching hire of the last five seasons. The longtime college football recruiting reporter says that Pittman’s 12-11 record through two seasons may not impress the casual college football fan, but the fact that he led Arkansas to nine wins with brutal schedules during his tenure has been amazing.

But, where does Farrell rank Pittman among his peers in the Southeastern Conference?

Recently, Farrell released the latest installment of his series titled “3-point stance”, where he ranked the head coaches of the SEC from 1-14, and listed why they received their ranking.

Here’s a look at where Ferrell has listed Pittman, as well as the other 13 coaches from the SEC.

14. Bryan Harsin, Auburn

It’s still a bit of a shock that Harsin still has a job considering everything that has been going on around the Auburn program. The mass exodus of coaches and players coupled with the lack of results on the field is very telling. It will take a miracle for Harsin to last the season on the Plains.
