Yulkeith Brown is entering his sophomore season at the wide receiver position for Texas A&M. He is looking to enhance his role on the depth chart after being seldom used during his true freshman season. as one of the better athletes coming out of the 2021 recruiting class, Brown was ranked as a top 50 player in Florida, and played his high school football at Miami Central in Miami Florida alongside running back, and current Aggie teammate, Amari Daniels. Brown played at the wide receiver, running back, and defensive back positions, while also returning kick-offs on special teams, and running track in the football off-season. From his sophomore to senior season, Brown recorded 650 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns in the air, while amassing 134 total carries for 1,514 yards and 19 touchdowns, with a career average of 11.3 yards per carry. Brown also helped Miami Central win the Florida 6A State Championship during the 2020 season, and was named MVP of the Florida-Georiga All-Star Game.
In need of more dynamic playmakers, Jimbo Fisher took advantage of his Florida-based recruiting roots, offering Brown on Jan. 21, 2020, and his commitment to the program coming 9 months later on October 31, 2020. During his first season with the Aggies, Brown appeared in 5 games on offense, accounting for 52 rushing yards on two attempts as a reserve, and returning one kick for 21 yards on special teams.
