Business is booming for Mel Tucker and Michigan State football.
A day after landing 2023 four-star defensive end Bai Jobe over Alabama and Oklahoma, Tucker’s Spartans garnered a commitment from 2023 four-star offensive lineman Cole Dellinger on Friday.
The Clarkston product is ranked as the No. 5 player in Michigan and No. 16 best interior offensive lineman nationally by 247Sports Composite ranking. He choose MSU over Purdue and LSU. Dellinger’s brother, Garrett, is a sophomore offensive tackle for the Tigers.
The addition of Jobe on Thursday rose MSU’s class ranking to No. 27 nationally by 247Sports. The group now features 12 commitments, including six other four-stars in defensive lineman Andrew Depaepe, linebacker Jordan Hall, tight end Brennan Parachek, running back Kedrick Reescano, offensive lineman Clay Wedin and cornerback Chance Rucker.

The class also has four three-star prospects. Dellinger is the third offensive linemen and third Michigander of the class.
