In a year where the New England Patriots saw a significant amount of turnover, the team seems to have a strong sense of who will start — even if some of those starters are likely to surprise.
Guards Ted Karras and Shaq Mason will be on new teams in 2022. Karras signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and New England traded Mason to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So the Patriots will have to replace those two players in 2022. But New England also made the interesting decision to flip positions for their two tackles in 2022. That transition will be worth monitoring. And then there’s the question of who the other three or four offensive linemen will be as depth players.
