It’s July folks and we’re getting ever so closer to the start of watching the Ohio State football team make another run for some pretty special things. As things get closer, more and more news is starting to come out about the upcoming season.
Earlier this week, the Ohio State football program announced some special events and promotions for the September games on the slate using the Ohio State Buckeyes Twitter account.
Things start off on September 3 with the big matchup against Notre Dame with ESPN’s College GameDay in attendance. OSU will also honor the 2002 national championship-winning team that night.
The following week on September 10, Ohio State will host the Scarlet and Gray Game and the Buckeyes Care Game. There will also be appreciation for faculty and staff appreciation and recognition of the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame inductees (whew).
The Toledo Rockets will visit Ohio Stadium on September 17 and we’ll all get to witness the Alumni band. Lastly, Ohio State is asking everyone to wear black against Wisconsin in the ‘Shoe on September 24. There’s a good chance that the Buckeyes will be wearing their all-blacks at night as well to truly make it a blackout.
And that wraps up the promotions scheduled for all of the home games in September. Get ready with your plans and DVR dates because it’ll be here before you know it.
