Aymeric Koumba, a 2023 edge prospect from France, announced Friday his commitment to U-M on Friday. Though the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder isn’t ranked by the 247Sports Composite, he held other offers from Vanderbilt, East Carolina, Connecticut and Buffalo.

According to his Twitter and Hudl profile, Koumba has a 7-1 wing span and has previously suited up for Pole Espoirs Aquitaine and the Wiesbaden Phantoms for U19 play. The programs are based in France and Germany, respectively.
