New Orleans Breakers QB Kyle Sloter Signs With Jacksonville Jaguars

The Spring League Championship Game Kicks Off at 7pm EST on FS1

After having a workout with the Jacksonville Jaguars yesterday, Kyle Sloter has officially signed with the team. Sloter was an All-USFL quarterback this year for the New Orleans Breakers, leading them to the inaugural postseason after posting a 6-4 record.

Kyle Sloter was one of the USFL’s best quarterbacks in the early goings of the season. He was sensational through the first few weeks. One of his major highlights came in week four, as he threw the game winning touchdown to Jonathan Adams to beat the Houston Gamblers.

Now, Sloter dealt with some injuries during 2022 – which ravaged the second half of the season for him. He did finish the year with 1,798 passing yards, and nine touchdowns.

However, he did threw eleven interceptions – struggling to find a rhythm down the stretch.

That being said, a healthy Sloter is clearly one of, if not the best QB in the USFL. Of course, he has been with a multitude of NFL teams during his career, and now makes a stop in Jacksonville. Hopefully, Sloter can stay healthy, so he can take advantage of this opportunity.
