Rutgers continued their normal, busy recruiting month through July. They continue to send offers out to the two upcoming recruiting classes.
When it comes to commitments for the class of 2023, the Scarlet Knights were not able to carry the momentum from a strong June into July. After receiving 10 commitments in June, Rutgers added just one additional commit in July. Their most recent commit was wide receiver Famah Toure from New Jersey.
Currently, Rutgers has the No. 43 recruiting class according to 247 Sports. This current class is ranked No. 11 in the Big Ten at the moment. A slow July does not mean that the team recruiters cannot bounce back and get a few more commitments in August.
Check out the list of recruiting targets who have scheduled commit announcements in August. All players Rutgers has recruited except one are rated four-star or higher according to 247 Sports. Everyone has several strong offers from other Power Five programs.
