The inaugural USA Today AFCA Coaches Preseason Poll was released on Sunday, taking votes from 66 college football coaches and ranking the top 25 teams, along with the 30 others that received votes.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are set to take on six of those 25 teams in their 2022 campaign, which begins on August 27 against Northwestern in Dublin, Ireland.
According to the poll, the Huskers’ schedule looks backloaded, as five of their last six games come against teams that at least received votes in the Coaches Poll. Contrarily, only one of their first six games will be played against a team mentioned in the poll. Nebraska did not receive a vote in the survey.
The six teams that Nebraska faces that were ranked or received votes are listed below, against which the Cornhuskers will face off against them in the 2022 season. Remember to take a closer looker at those last four games. The month of November could prove to be very interesting for the Huskers.
