Clemson is set to kick off its 2022 season in 26 days, and while much can change between now and Sept. 5, the Tigers have certain games that should already be circled on calendars.
Clemson will face off against eight ACC teams in 2022, all of which smell blood in the water with the Tigers’ disappointing 10-3 season last year.
Meanwhile, Clemson will also play four out-of-conference games, including the annual rivalry game against South Carolina and a road trip to Notre Dame to take on the Fighting Irish.
Head coach Dabo Swinney and his staff will take it game by game, but from a fan’s perspective, certain matchups are more enthralling than others.
That being said, here are Clemson’s games in 2022 ranked from worst to first.

Furman at Clemson

This game shouldn’t be much of a contest, as the Tigers are 3-0 against Furman all time, with an average winning margin of 34.3 points.

Lousiana Tech at Clemson

Time: 8 p.m. EST
The Tigers haven’t played Lousiana Tech since 2006, but like the Furman game, this matchup leans heavily in Clemson’s favor and could be a blowout in Death Valley.

Clemson narrowly escaped with a win against Syracuse last year, and the Orange have given the Tigers problems in the past. Still, with Clemson playing at home and with a much better roster, there is still a significant advantage in Clemson’s favor.
